Crew Dragon Freedom flew its fourth mission on February 13, 2026, carrying NASA's Jessica Meir — who made history with the first all-female spacewalk in 2019 — alongside pilot Jack Hathaway, ESA astronaut Sophie Adenot, and Roscosmos cosmonaut Andrey Fedyaev. This is the same capsule that carried Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams home in March 2025 after Boeing's Starliner failure stranded them, and had already flown Crew-4 and two private Axiom missions before that. Crew-12 launched to a station running short-staffed, docking the next day to bring Expedition 74 back up to seven. 'We have left the Earth, but the Earth has not left us,' Meir radioed back moments after reaching orbit.
