LUSAT (LO-19), built by Argentine university students and radio amateurs and launched in 1990, one of the first satellites designed and built in Latin America. It carried an amateur radio digital store-and-forward payload, giving Argentine engineering students hands-on satellite-building experience decades before the country's more advanced ARSAT commercial program existed.
