Germany's first student-built Earth observation satellite, constructed at TU Berlin. DLR-TUBSAT demonstrated real-time video from orbit and was the first German spacecraft to use commercial off-the-shelf electronics for attitude control — a radical approach at the time that helped launch the small satellite revolution.
