Singapore's first satellite and a milestone for Southeast Asia's emergence in space. Built collaboratively by Nanyang Technological University and the DSO National Laboratories, X-SAT carries an optical imager capable of 10-meter resolution — enough to track urban development, deforestation, and environmental changes across the region. At just 105 kg, it demonstrated that small nations can build capable Earth observation spacecraft.
