The first of two SPOT-6/7 satellites updating Europe's SPOT commercial imagery program, SPOT-6 delivers 1.5-meter imagery with a 37-mile swath — wide enough to image entire metropolitan regions in a single pass. Together with SPOT-7, the pair can revisit any point on Earth daily, making the SPOT series relevant for the operational applications that define modern commercial Earth observation.
