A Eutelsat multi-mission satellite at 3°E carrying a unique collection of five payloads covering Ka-band, Ku-band, and C-band — serving Europe, Africa, and the Middle East simultaneously. Eutelsat-3B was designed as a flexible multi-band satellite testing whether a single spacecraft serving multiple frequency bands and geographic markets could be commercially viable. Its diverse coverage includes Ka-band broadband for Africa, Ku-band broadcasting for Europe, and C-band for Middle Eastern operators.
