Argentina's first privately developed satellite, BugSat-1 was built by Satellogic — the company that would grow to operate one of the world's largest commercial Earth observation constellations. Named 'Tita' after a beloved Argentine cartoon character, it proved a Latin American startup could build and fly a functional spacecraft, sparking a commercial space revolution that made Argentina an unlikely hub of the small satellite industry.
