One of a pair of 1.5U CubeSats in the AeroCube-8 generation, built to test novel spacecraft technologies for The Aerospace Corporation. AeroCube-8C continued the program's tradition of validating individual subsystem innovations — from miniaturized sensors to new communication protocols — each mission adding another building block to Aerospace's accumulated small-satellite technology library, freely shared with NASA, defense, and academic customers.
