Kanopus-V 5, part of Russia's Kanopus-V Earth observation constellation providing multispectral imagery for agricultural monitoring, wildfire detection, and environmental assessment across Russia's enormous territory. Each addition to the constellation improves the revisit frequency Russian agencies rely on to track everything from crop conditions in the Kuban wheat belt to the earliest signs of forest fires spreading across Siberia.
