First satellite of China's SuperView Neo-2 constellation, launched later in 2022 to further expand China Siwei's commercial imaging capacity. Each successive SuperView generation has pushed resolution and revisit performance closer to the leading edge of what's commercially available anywhere in the world — part of China's broader strategy of building sovereign commercial capability across every category of space technology rather than depending on any single foreign supplier.
