A Chinese high-throughput communications satellite providing Ka-band broadband across China. Zhongxing-26 addresses the rapidly growing demand for satellite broadband in China's underserved western and rural regions. China's government has invested heavily in satellite internet connectivity as part of its digital infrastructure programs, and Zhongxing-26 is part of that national connectivity strategy.
