GHGSat-C7, one of a constellation where every single satellite carries the name of an employee's child rather than a serial number — a reminder, the company says, of whose future they're actually protecting. It can trace a methane leak to a single faulty valve at an oil facility from 310 miles up, precise enough that regulators now use its readings as evidence, not estimates.
