UTMN 2 (RS27S), part of a roughly 40-satellite cluster of Russian university and amateur radio CubeSats launched together on June 27, 2023 aboard the same Soyuz rocket carrying the Meteor-M2-3 weather satellite. This satellite is Built by the University of Tyumen, based in Western Siberia, extending Russia's university CubeSat program well beyond the traditional Moscow and St. Petersburg technical institutes.
