KuzGTU 1 (RS47S), part of a roughly 40-satellite cluster of Russian university and amateur radio CubeSats launched together on June 27, 2023 aboard the same Soyuz rocket carrying the Meteor-M2-3 weather satellite. This satellite is Built by Kuzbass State Technical University in Russia's coal-mining Kuzbass region, an unusual origin for a satellite team far from the country's traditional aerospace engineering hubs.
