Hulianwang Jishu Shiyan A, one of the first two satellites in a program with a deliberately boring name — 'Satellite Internet Technology Experimental Satellite' — that's actually testing hardware for Guowang, China's planned 13,000-satellite answer to Starlink. China's own government sources acknowledge the finished network will carry both civilian and military traffic, an admission the West rarely gets from any comparable program.
