The first satellite in Airbus's LEGION hyperspectral constellation brings science-grade hyperspectral imaging to a commercial daily-revisit service. Measuring 400+ spectral bands per pixel, LEGION identifies pollution events, maps mineral resources, and detects crop diseases before visible symptoms appear — generating orders of magnitude more value per pixel than standard color imagery.
