Pakistan's newest communications satellite, significantly expanding the country's geostationary capacity. PakSat-MM1 provides enhanced broadband and broadcasting services for Pakistan's 220 million population — one of the world's largest underserved satellite markets. Pakistan's investment in new satellite capacity reflects the government's digital Pakistan initiative and the growing demand for satellite connectivity in rural and mountainous regions beyond the reach of terrestrial networks.
