SIT-HSE is a small remote-sensing and IoT technology demonstration satellite built in partnership with St. Petersburg State University of Telecommunications (SPbSUT), one of roughly two dozen small satellites launched together November 4, 2024 on Russia's large Vostochny rideshare mission (COSPAR 2024-199) alongside the primary Ionosfera-M scientific payloads. Like much of the surrounding cluster, SIT-HSE represents academic satellite-engineering training rather than an operational commercial system, though its detailed mission objectives beyond the general remote-sensing and IoT classification were not disclosed in available sources.
