RTU MIREA 1 is a technology-demonstration CubeSat built by MIREA — Russian Technological University, one of roughly two dozen small satellites launched together on Russia's large November 4, 2024 Vostochny rideshare mission (COSPAR 2024-199) alongside the primary Ionosfera-M scientific payloads. Like most of its cluster-mates from Russian universities, it serves primarily as a hands-on satellite-engineering training platform for students rather than an operational commercial or military system, with detailed test objectives beyond the general technology-demonstration classification not disclosed in available sources.
