Despite the name, not a piece of the Hubble Space Telescope — this is Hubble-4, one of two satellites Spire Global built and operates for Hubble Network, the startup connecting ordinary Bluetooth chips directly to space. It flies on Spire's 16U LEMUR platform, the same bus as Spire's own weather and ship-tracking fleet, a model where Spire builds and runs the satellite while the customer supplies the mission. Launched on SpaceX's Transporter-14 rideshare in June 2025, it and its twin marked Hubble Network's move from technology demonstration to commercial service.
