Third satellite completing the third Yaogan-40 triplet. Nine satellites across three generations now give China's polar-orbit ELINT constellation the ability to triangulate naval radio and radar emissions across any ocean basin on the planet — a genuinely global naval surveillance capability that took China roughly fifteen years to build, starting from the first regional Yaogan-9 triplet in 2010.
