A joint Israel-Germany microsatellite from Technion, TechSat demonstrated GPS-based orbit determination for nanosatellites when that required purpose-built hardware. Now used globally by radio amateurs as GO-32 — one of the first examples of a mission living far beyond its original purpose through the amateur radio community.
