Part of ORBCOMM's founding VHF satellite fleet, launched in 1999 as the constellation neared its initial full deployment. ORBCOMM FM32 relays low-bandwidth data messages for industrial and transportation customers, part of a network that pioneered commercial satellite-based asset tracking before GPS trackers were commonplace consumer technology.
