Morocco's first satellite, built with German assistance at TU Berlin, established Morocco as one of Africa's first satellite operators. It trained Moroccan engineers who seeded the country's growing space program and captured 0.6-mile-resolution imagery of Moroccan territory — proving a developing nation could reach orbit on a modest budget.
