India's first stereo imaging satellite captures two simultaneous views of the same target to generate 3D terrain models. At 2.5 meter resolution, it produced digital elevation models of the Indian subcontinent accurate to 1 meter vertically — the spatial foundation for India's infrastructure planning, disaster management, and defense mapping programs.
