Argentina's second domestically built communications satellite, expanding South American connectivity. ARSAT-2 covers all of South America and parts of North America and Europe with Ku-band capacity, positioning Argentina as a regional satellite services provider beyond its domestic market. The satellite was built by INVAP alongside the space, nuclear, and defense technologies that have made Argentina one of Latin America's most technically sophisticated nations.
