CYGNSS #7, part of eight satellites launched from a single Pegasus XL air-launched rocket — all eight deployed in under three minutes. Each microsatellite cost roughly $3M, cheap enough that NASA could afford eight instead of one expensive instrument. The constellation model proved more hurricane-worthy than any single large satellite.
