The second satellite in HawkEye 360's Pathfinder formation. The three-satellite formation must maintain extremely precise relative positions for accurate triangulation — each satellite's position known to within meters for the time-difference-of-arrival calculation to yield useful geolocation. This formation-flying precision was the key technology that made commercial RF geolocation from orbit viable.
