FORMOSAT 7-4, one of six satellites launched together in June 2019 — on the very same Falcon Heavy rocket that carried DSX to its radiation-belt mission — to read Earth's atmosphere by watching GPS signals bend as they pass through it. This satellite contributes a direct descendant of the original 2006 COSMIC mission, the first satellite constellation ever built purely to read the atmosphere through bent GPS signals rather than direct observation.
