Egypt's first government satellite, providing C and Ku-band communications for Egyptian government agencies, defense establishments, and public service applications. TIBA-1 (Technological Innovation Broadband for Africa) represents Egypt's investment in sovereign satellite communications as the country positions itself as a potential satellite services hub for Africa.
