Launched in the same 2020 timeframe as its sibling ICEYE-X6, this satellite contributed to ICEYE's growing ability to provide daily interferometry and coherent change detection anywhere on Earth. The constellation's design goal — a 24-hour ground track repeat cycle across multiple orbital inclinations — meant that by the time ICEYE reached roughly 15-20 satellites, most locations on Earth could be imaged within a single day.
