Lead satellite of the Yaogan-30 group 08 triplet, launched October 26, 2020 aboard a Long March 2C from Xichang — China's 31st orbital launch of that year alone. This eighth Yaogan-30 formation arrived roughly 370 miles up in the program's standard 35°-inclined orbit, joining seven earlier triplets in an ELINT constellation whose true naval targeting significance analysts were only beginning to fully appreciate by 2020.
