GHGSat-C2, part of a constellation that has quietly become the reason regulators and journalists can now point to a specific pipeline, landfill, or oil facility and say exactly how much methane it's leaking — not an estimate, a direct measurement, precise enough to identify a single leaking valve within a facility from orbit. GHGSat's fleet has grown to 16 satellites, launched in a burst of expansion that coincided, pointedly, with the 2025 COP30 climate summit.
