Second satellite of the fourth Yaogan-31 triplet, part of China's continuing high-altitude ELINT constellation. By 2023, the combined JB-8 family across all its generations represented one of the longest-running and most consistently replenished Chinese military satellite programs, spanning over a decade of continuous operational deployment.
