Companion satellite to Yaogan-32 A, completing China's first Yaogan-32 pair. The two-satellite formation flying in close proximity is consistent with an interferometric radar mission, where the phase difference between two nearly identical radar images taken from slightly different positions reveals precise ground elevation — a capability distinct from the naval signals triangulation performed by China's larger ELINT triplet families.
