The second Gaofen-12 SAR satellite adds capacity to China's all-weather radar surveillance constellation. With multiple satellites in orbit, China can achieve same-day radar imaging of any global target — eliminating the temporal gap that previously forced analysts to wait hours or days for a satellite to pass overhead.
