The second COSMO-SkyMed Second Generation satellite completes Italy's upgraded radar constellation, achieving sub-6-hour revisit over any Mediterranean target. Italy now operates one of the world's most capable Earth observation systems — serving both military intelligence and civilian environmental monitoring from the same two-satellite constellation.
