The first satellite of China's next-generation SuperView Neo constellation, launched 2022 with improved resolution and revisit capability over the original SuperView-1 series. SuperView Neo-1 targets sub-0.5-meter resolution imagery, positioning China Siwei to compete more directly with the newest generation of Western commercial imaging satellites like Pléiades Neo and Planet's Pelican constellation — the global commercial imagery market has become genuinely competitive across US, European, and Chinese operators.
