NextSat-2, a South Korean technology demonstration satellite testing advanced imaging and space environment sensors for future Korean satellite programs, continuing the country's rapid emergence as a serious independent small-satellite power. South Korea's satellite program has expanded dramatically over the past decade, moving from purely domestic technology tests toward genuine international commercial competitiveness in the small-satellite manufacturing market.
