Pelican-1, Planet Labs' first satellite in its next-generation high-resolution imaging constellation — successor to the SkySat line, designed to deliver sub-30-cm imagery with faster revisit and lower cost per satellite than the fleet it's replacing, part of Planet's push to compete directly with Maxar's WorldView constellation at the sharpest end of the commercial imaging market.
