Second satellite of the Chuangxin-20 three-satellite formation, flying alongside CX-20A and CX-20C in the same 50° inclined orbit. Multi-satellite formations like this one allow China to test techniques — inter-satellite ranging, coordinated maneuvering, distributed sensing — that a single spacecraft physically cannot demonstrate, building toward future operational constellations that depend on multiple satellites acting as one coordinated system.
