One of the nine satellites in the first Yaogan-43 batch, launched from Xichang in August 2024. The Yaogan-43 program's unusual structure — many satellites, multiple builders, undisclosed purposes — makes it one of the more genuinely ambiguous recent additions to China's already opaque military satellite ecosystem.
