Avanti's second high-throughput Ka-band broadband satellite, extending coverage to Africa and additional European markets. HYLAS-2 targeted Sub-Saharan Africa's enormous unmet demand for affordable broadband — providing internet to businesses, institutions, and residential customers across markets where terrestrial infrastructure reaches only major cities.
