The Proto-Flight Model of SES's O3B constellation — the very first satellite of the system to fly, testing the medium-Earth-orbit broadband architecture before the rest of the fleet followed. O3B PFM proved out the concept that has since expanded into the far more powerful O3B mPower generation, positioning SES as a genuine alternative to Starlink for enterprise and government broadband customers.
