UK Space Agency's technology demonstrator packed eight experimental payloads into one compact satellite — including the first GNSS-R ocean wind measurement from a UK satellite, and a drag-augmentation device to accelerate deorbit. TDS-1's GNSS-R experiment directly led to Spire's commercial ocean wind product, demonstrating how technology demonstration missions create the startups of tomorrow.
