Australia's first high-throughput Ka-band satellite for the National Broadband Network (NBN) — Australia's national internet infrastructure project. Sky Muster provides satellite broadband to approximately 400,000 rural Australian premises that cannot be served by fiber or fixed wireless — farms, outback stations, island communities, and remote towns. The satellite transformed rural Australians' access to education, healthcare, and e-commerce by providing their first meaningful broadband connection.
