The seventh NavIC satellite, completing India's national navigation constellation. With IRNSS-1G operational, India became only the fifth entity in the world — after the US, Russia, China, and Europe — to operate a fully independent navigation system. NavIC now provides positioning for Indian military systems, commercial shipping in the Indian Ocean, fishing vessels, and increasingly for civilian smartphones across South Asia.
