Iran's satellite broadcasting service, named after Jam-e Jam — the mythical cup of King Jamshid in Persian mythology that was said to reflect the entire world. Jam-e Jam is also Iran's international state broadcasting brand. The satellite provides Iranian state television programming across the Middle East, Europe, and Central Asia — an instrument of Iranian soft power, projecting Farsi-language news, cultural programming, and political messaging to diaspora communities and international audiences.
