Second satellite of the Yaogan-30 group 03 triplet, part of China's third naval ELINT triangulation formation launched within a single quarter. Three simultaneous triplets by the end of 2017 meant nine total Yaogan-30 satellites tracking Pacific naval emissions from three separate, evenly spaced orbital planes.
