The Pathfinder cluster of HawkEye 360's constellation — three satellites flying in precise formation to geolocate radio frequency signals anywhere on Earth using triangulation. By comparing the time each satellite receives the same signal, the cluster pinpoints any radio transmitter to within hundreds of meters. Applications range from tracking ships disabling their AIS transponders to monitoring unauthorized radio emissions across conflict zones.
